School Dinner
Meals at Foxborough are cooked on the premises. A nourishing, well-balanced two-course meal is served and it is of a type which appeals to children.
The price of the school meal is currently £2.00 per day. Parents can pay on a Monday by cash or cheque for the whole week, month or term. Money will need to be kept safe in a named and sealed envelope.
Free meals are available to those children whose parents are receiving Income Support. To apply it is necessary to obtain a form form the school or the Area Education Office and it will be dealt with in strictest confidence. Parents who do not wish their child to have a school meal may send a packed lunch for their child. If you wish to send a hot or cold drink to school please ensure that it is in an unbreakable container.
Home Dinner
If your child goes home for dinner at any time a parental permission letter slip will be required. Please also ensure that your child returns to school no earlier than 12:55 and that they sign in on their return.
Please do not allow or encourage your child to visit local shops at lunchtime.
Lunchtime Behaviour
Parents will be informed if their child leaves the school premsises without permission or continually misbehaves at lunchtimes.
