It is important to us that your child arrives in school safely and on time. If this is not going to be the case we would expect a parent to telephone the school by 9:30 on the first day and any subsequent days of an absence leaving a message stating your child's name, class, why they are absent and when you expect them to return.
However if no contact is made during the absence, we need a written explanation on your child's return to school. If we do not receive an explanation, or if the explanation is unsatisfactory, we will not authorise the absence, and this will be shown on your child's end of year report. |
